“The Wild Brunch” Recap
Brunch at the Palace.
Dan and Jenny recap their night at the Kiss the Lips party. Jenny insisted that she was fine after Chuck attacked her; and Dan relives “the wave” that he shared with Serena.
Nate and Chuck relive the party as well, with Chuck claiming that he wanted to kill Dan for decking him. Dan, of course, decked Chuck for attacking Jenny at the party.
Serena and her mother have an argument about Serena’s plans for the day. Serena rushes off to see Blair at the same time that Dan tries to meet up with Serena for his “second chance.” Nate also stops by to see Serena.
Blair is not happy to see Serena. Serena brings coffee and “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” to try and patch things up, but Blair explains to Serena that she knows that Serena slept with Nate.
Jenny goes to see Blair to find out what people were saying about what happened at the party with her and Chuck. Blair figures out that having Jenny on her side is a good thing - especially when she finds out that Dan and Serena went out the night before. She offers Jenny an expensive party dress, noting that Jenny would find some way to repay her.
Chuck and Dan have a confrontation in front of the Palace. Nate convinces Chuck to go back to the hotel.
Serena and Dan chat in front of the Palace. Serena’s mom stops by and insists that Serena go to the brunch. Serena agrees, if Dan can come along. Their appearance shocks Blair, Chuck, Nate and the gang.
Nate tells Serena that they need to talk and agrees to meet him in Chuck’s suite. Later, Blair and Nate start to make out and go to Chuck’s suite - where they see Serena.
Blair gets her revenge by telling Dan that Serena slept with Nate. Chuck then goads Dan into hitting him, which he does at the brunch in front of everyone. He leaves without Serena. She follows him out. They decide not to see each other anymore.
Blair and Nate (sort of) kiss and make up. Serena and Dan go their separate ways. Jenny dares to dream about how the other half lives.
